What Is Web 2.0?

“Web 2.0” is a term used to portray the internet as it is now - ‘a new generation of websites [which] harvest the participation of their users. ‘
Web 2.0 is an evolved version of web 1.0, which basically limits the user to static read-only websites. Web 2.0, however changes the way we use the internet, we are able to enhance our creativity , increase our capability on the web and do things that weren’t possible with web 1.0. These web 2.0 websites not only allows users to read a web page, but are able to be involved and interact with each other , through uploading photos or videos, leaving comments, etc producing their own websites or blogs, etc.
