Information/Instructional Design?

Information/ instructional design is a method of organising information so that users can understand it as easily as possible.
The designs teach users how to do something in the most effective way, this is done by converting complex and confusing data and information into a simpler form. An example is summarising information into graphs. By doing this the information is easily comprehensible due to its simplified nature and visual appeal, instead of lots of text.

Here are some examples of information/instructional design:

-Fire extinguisher instructions

 - Origami star instructions

- Signs
